Check the disrimination suit against the Oklahoma City Indian Clinic: Renee Exendine Nettle and Janelle Tsoodle. The OKCIC treatment of their employee’s is blatant discriminationa against Indian’s of lighter skin.

On July 15, 2009, the Western District for United States under Judge Vicki Miles-LaGrange recognized a summary judgement on behalf of the defendant. This was not a dismissal. This was in fact the 3rd summary judgement entered since the case was filed against the discriminatory acts of employment practices in the urban Indian Clinic.

The plaintiff held her own for over 2.5 years of pleas, orders, amendments and other legal tools in the Federal Court for the Western District on her own personal principle and merit. She stood for principle and fought for herself in the myre of the federal legal system.

I congratulate a person of such fortitude, and wish we had more people of principle to go to bat for the American Indians of the nation and NOT have to fight other American Indians for a job!

Hail to the strengths of the American Indian Woman, and the giver of life, purpose and achievement!
