Hello Mr. Fletcher, I just read your article on “Turtle Talk” and enjoyed it. What I’am wondering about is what is ever going to be done about “Terminated” American Indians? I’am a member of the “Terminated” Mixed Blood Utes of the Ute Indian Tribe of Utah. We were terminated in the late 50’s early 60’s and have been fighting to regain our identities for the last 48 years, and are not closer than when we started. We are probably the “only” terminated tribe left on the books of Congress, and are the “only” Indain Tribe that a fourth of the tribe was Terminated and the other three fourts stayed “Federally Recognized.” We have lived through some pretty horrible times belive me.
I noticed you done a new book with Prof. Charles F. Wilkinson, he is very aware of our termination, we could surley use you guys help in getting the genocidal law repealed. Have you ever heard about us? If not go to:
http://www.undeclaredutes.net the case was was doing was dismissed and we have decided to go on to congress.
Also are you one of the “Fletcher” in the Osage Case?
I understand the Osage Case ruling was very important when dealing with the interpertation of federal statues?
I would love to talk to you… please email me at:

Many Blessings! Oranna B. Felter, Terminated Ute of
