    The problem we are seeing here in Alaska is…the Alaska Office of Children’s Services tends to use CINA and the ICWA standards are ignored completely. So this is a problem for those who can’t afford an attorneys and are given forced representation, forced representation won’t do anything for us, they tell us to either “accept their programs or our children will be adopted put”, I don’t care what laws one uses to make that statement go away, this is pure blackmail and extortion. I don’t condone anyone, even with color of law authority to blackmail anyone. I don’t recall giving anyone color of law authority to bleed families of everything, especially the ones we love…A major overhaul of the child welfare system needs to go back to its original intent…orphanages…
