Replacing Kagan: Speculation is swirling on potential nominees to replace Solicitor General Elena Kagan if she is confirmed for a slot on the U.S. Supreme Court, The National Law Journalreports today. Washington state Gov. Christine Gregoire is reportedly on a White House short list for Kagan’s post.
