United Keetoowah Band Wins Attorney Fees from Velie & Velie in Dispute over Unauthorized Legal Services

This Oklahoma state court case involved a lawyer suing a former tribal government client, the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee over alleged unpaid fees. The lawyer lost. The court assessed fees and costs against the lawyer in a trial held on December 20.
