I’ve admired Senator Inouye since the first day I met him. That was when he was running for Senator during the first congressional race in Hawaii. He was at a rally and was caught in the rain. My father brought him home with him to dry off as the rally was near our house. I ironed his shirt dry while he and my Dad talked. Being a kid, I was fascinated that he could get himself dressed with only one arm.
Now as a member of the Mohegan government in Connecticut, my admiration for him runs on a much grander scale.
We’ll miss you, Dan.
