The Federal and Indian Royalties Section is seeking an Attorney to handle mineral royalty and related financial litigation and legal advice matters. The Section provides legal support to the Office of Natural Resources Revenue (ONRR), the Federal agency responsible for accounting for and collecting mineral revenue payments for the United States Government. The Section handles a high volume of litigation and advice matters in complex legal areas, in which precedent is often lacking. The Section primarily handles royalty law, and secondarily handles bankruptcy law, Federal fiscal law, the Freedom of Information Act, and other legal matters.
