I am glad the people involved have the ability to respond to the behaviors of others. Great modeling for the children…teach them to be response-able. Racism may not go away but we cannot and will not let it get in the way. Warriors are not worriers. We (adult Native people) are the future of our children and how we navigate the adversities and attacks of shame based behaviors in the presence of our children will determine how they respond in the future. I feel,see and hear the victory inside the struggle.
