Gun Lake Casino Construction Update

From Indianz:

The Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Band of Potawatomi Indians, also known as the Gun Lake Tribe, held a topping out ceremony for the $157 million Gun Lake Casino last week.

The tribe began work on the 83,000-square-foot facility last fall. Construction is expected to be complete by the end of the summer.

The casino is located off a major interstate in Wayland Township, Michigan.

As I now have to travel to Odawa casino or Four Winds to find my favorite machine..The Wild Rose, which used to be in all the casinos,I am hoping you will consider having one in your new casino…they do appeal to older people .We have the time and the money to play!

Please send me updates as to when you will be accepting resumes and applications. I am currently a Slot Technician with 9-years experience, looking at the possibility of returning to my home area in Michigan. I was originally from the Greenville / Belding, MI area.

    Thank-you

    Hey Ron,

Was wondering if you could tell me what kind of experience you need to be a slot tech and what kind of pay does this position typically pay? Did you start out as a slot tech?

What casino do you work for?

    Thanks,

    Bill

Hey, just wondering what i would have to do if i wanted to get a job working at this Gun Lake Casino when you open. I live very close to where it’s being built and it would be a great job from what i’m told. I’ve looked up everything and can’t seem to find any info other than a phone number that has been disconected. somebody let me know please and thank you- Andrew!

The addition of a Casino is just another improvement making the Grand Rapids area a destination spot for business, vacationers and let’s not forget residents of west Michigan. This development in the Greater Grand Rapids area is but just one more contribution to the region as a diverse section of life for visitors and residents. Welcome to the 21st century west Michigan.

This casino looks pretty big, I’ll be checking for updates. I am interested to see what the interior / exterior décor and signage looks like – next time I’m in Michigan I’ll be sure to check it out.
