Retribution from Mike Cox and his team who will be out on the street on January 1. Ignore his email, just like St. Clair County did on having the principal office of the Sheriff in the County Seat. Mike needs to learn how to read treaties, and mind his exit strategy while packing his bags. Since when did the Chief Law Enforcement Officer in Michigan start interpreting treaties that have over a 100 years of validity, via email. Last chance to get a little attention me thinks.
They e-mailed them a closure notice? I don’t think so… Such a think will take a court order and the court order will not be e-mailed… This is merely a suggestion that they close or they will have to fight in court, which is obviously what they will do. I’m also pretty sure that in federal court, where this will play out, they will more than likely win.
