The law was drafted by a group that includes the country’s 36 indigenous peoples. It is expected to pass and become law. More here.

AWESOME, tho I believe that customary law of indigenous peoples’ should inherently account for Her, her right to assume our responsibilities to her upkeep. Still, positive law engraves for the long term the respect and reverence the Earth must be given, and will help it not be lost to changing times and temperments. Hankyu (it is good). Joe Flies-Away
