The First Circuit affirmed the jury verdict, and the trial judge’s instructions to it, against the seven members of the Narragansett who were injured by Rhode Island police officers during the notorious smokeshop raid several years ago.
Bob v. United States – Tort Claim Against Oglala Sioux Tribe Officers
The district court for the District of South Dakota dismissed this claim of police brutality by Oglala Sioux Tribe officers against the United States under the Federal Tort Claims Act.
