Summer clerkships are open to students who will have completed their 2L year. The three-year fellowship is open to recent law school graduates. Tribal Child Support Unit Attorney, Juneau, AK. This position’s duties and responsibilities include representing the Tlingit and Haida Tribal Child Support Unit (TCSU) in Tribal and State courts, drafting legal documents for child support and paternity cases, providing legal guidance to the TCSU agency, researching legal issues, interpreting statutes, rules and regulations relevant to child support and paternity. Summer Clerks. Positions are available in all three of NARF’s offices. Must have completed 2L year by Summer 2018. Application deadline is September 29, 2017.

Navajo Nation Department of Justice

Attorney, Litigation and Employment Unit. The qualified applicant will focus on litigation for the Navajo Nation government before federal, Navajo Nation, and state courts and administrative tribunals in a variety of subject areas, including natural resources, public safety, and jurisdictional issues, with some work with Navajo Nation government programs advising and representing programs on labor and employment matters.
