The position will provide poverty law services to domestic violence victims throughout the state of Montana, concentrating their work in Carbon, Stillwater, Sweet Grass, Park and Meagher counties. Poverty law services will primarily be in the area of family law and orders of protection, although other areas of law, such as housing, public benefits and consumer, will be addressed as appropriate to the client. Tribal Attorney. Baraga, MI. General knowledge of law with emphasis on applicable current case law, statutes and regulations relating to Indian tribes. Knowledge of and experience with the operation of court systems. Individuals with experience in Indian law and litigation desired. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must work effectively with other people at a variety of ages and levels. Competency in various computer programs. Able to work independently to get a project completed. Open until filled.
