Legal Services of South Central Michigan

Professor, Albuquerque, N.M. The University of New Mexico School of Law invites applications for a full-time, tenured or tenured-track faculty position to teach in its Legal Analysis and Communication Program, starting in the Fall of 2020. Faculty in the program are responsible for teaching Elements of Legal Argumentation I & II, the law school’s required first-year legal writing sequence. ELA I & II focus on developing students’ skills in legal reading, research, analysis, and communication. The program’s faculty members typically teach two first-year sections of approximately 15-20 students each (or 30-40 students total). They also teach upper-level writing courses, and the successful candidate will be expected to help design and implement the program’s upper-level writing curriculum.
