Full Time Faculty — Tax and Estate Planning, Moscow, ID. The Faculty will: (1) Teach the basic tax course, business tax (partnerships and corps), estate planning, and wills. On its face, this package does not include much in the Native American law arena. However, that very well could change over time and we have several extracurricular programs that could use expertise in tribal tax, estate planning, tribal economic development, etc.. Navajo Nation Department of Justice

Principal Tribal Court Advocate, Office of the Attorney General, Window Rock, AZ. The Principal Tribal Court Advocate will: (1) Perform legal work related to representation of the Navajo Nation government, as assigned by the Assistant Attorney General, including legal research, negotiations, legal writing, drafting pleadings, briefs, memoranda, resolutions and other documents for the divisions, departments, or programs assigned. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission

The Quinault Indian Nation is soliciting proposals for a consultant to advise and assist with strategy and grant writing related to the tribal provisions of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARP). The Quinault Indian Nation seeks to leverage the ARP to the fullest extent to ensure self-sufficiency and tribal sovereignty. It is anticipated that the delivery of services under the contract will begin on July 1, 2021.

Montana Legal Services Association

Project Coordinator- Tribal Advocacy Incubator, Helena or Billings, Montana. MLSA provides civil, non-criminal legal services to low income Montanans living in all 56 Montana counties and on all Tribal Reservations. It is a new position that is responsible for developing a MLSA supported project that recruits, trains, and supports tribal advocates on Tribal Land in Montana. This position will conduct outreach, develop training materials, and work with a diverse group of project partners to implement the project. The Project Coordinator will be housed at MLSA and is responsible for working with partners to finalize a project model, develop the project infrastructure, recruit the inaugural group of tribal advocates, and manage the ongoing project and referrals.
